Itis self-evidence that human development can not stand without a good learning.To reach that target, people always search the appropriate ways. Besides, themains important elements that help people to learn are books and experiencesbecause of their unlimited benefits.

Thebook is a valuable source of knowledge that consists of infinite benefits. Ittransports us into different worlds and cultures, as well as, it informs usabout ancient civilizations and lore. In addition, it helps us to learn aboutnew technologies and literature. It allows speaking languages fluently and tocommunicate spontaneously. Therefore, the book can be faithful friend and thenearest into us which can guide us to how to behave in our practical life.

Reading enables the mind tothink over objects of interest, which enable a person in making informeddecisions, its food for the soul, for it nourishes the human intellect inprobing things deeper, analyzing things, and provide guidance to people, toinstances they have not yet been exposed to life.

Asindividuals, we need books to record events and happenings in our lives. A goodexample is the diary. Many people are good at keeping diaries while some arenot so good. But the truth is that through diaries, we have come to know moreabout the lives of prominent individuals whose lives we wouldn't have had theopportunity to watch.

Studentsof history need books as their raw materials. From the story of the first manon earth to the life and times of important figures of the nineteenth century,we read all these in books. Before the advent of the computer in the 1960s, theonly reliable means of storing and receiving information was books. Even nowthat the computer has provided an alternative source of keeping and retrievinginformation, ost people still prefer books.

Bookscould be read for instruction, recreation or entertainment. Without books, theworld would starve. The faith of most regions people is tied to their religiousbooks. No wonder the pious Christians would clutch their Bibles at the momentof distress. The Moslems too would find solace in the Koran at the time ofneed. Other religions too have their sacred books. Those people, especiallyyoung people who are not all that religious would find in novels and soft salesmeans of escape.

Itis very important to inculcate the habit of reading right from childhood. Youcan put in children the habit of reading bedtime stories. Reading during the early years helps thechild in improving his/her language skills. The child learns to recognizewritten words. Readingwhen young helps you in your later life. Studies say that reading before goingto bed helps the child feel secure and comfortable while sleeping. Emotions canbe best understood through the characters in stories.

Achild who grows up reading is definitely enriched as a young person. He/sheautomatically takes to reading. If the habit of reading is formed during anearly age, reading soon becomes the persons hobby. Teenage years are thegrowing and developing years of ones life. This is the period of ones mentalgrowth as well. So it is nice to read good books during these years. Youngstersoften relate to the story of heroes and try to emulate their behaviors. Theyidealize their favorite authors. They dream about their future and plan for it.Feeding the brain with loads of information from all around the world duringthis phase of life helps a person base his ideals on positivities. Reading helps the personshape his/her life.
