You don't want to get halfway into the project to find that it is more than you bargained. The mess can be pretty hard to clean up after that point. So, please be careful.

With these sites plus all the books that are out there in terms of diy projects, you can do about anything. This makes it a whole lot easier and can save you a bit of money. You won't know what you are missing until you do something yourself. So get out there and get dirty. See what you can do. If you find that no matter where you go it might be too hard, then don't try it.
