Jurassic World Trailer Delivers Prehistoric Mayhem

The last words anyone wants to hear before they visit a theme park populated by dinosaurs is: If something chases you: Run! Its a statement that promises all sorts of prehistoric mayhem, and the first trailer for Jurassic Worlddelivers just that in full.

Amongst the numerous monsters teased in the clip are a humongous crocodile-like creature that devours a shark, a horde of bipeds frolicking through an open field and a clan of raptors that converge alongside Chris Pratt as he speeds through the jungle on a motorcycle. Jurassic World also features a genetically modified hybrid creature thats apparently as smart as it is bloodthirsty. As Pratt dryly puts it: You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea.

The highly-anticipated Jurassic World is being produced by the original films director, Steven Spielberg, and is slated to open June 12th, 2015 some 14 years after the franchises last entry, Jurassic Park III. (Its directed by Colin Trevorrow, the filmmaker behind the Sundance sleeper hit Safety Not Guaranteed.) Earlier this year,Jurassic Park celebrated its 21st anniversary of its theatrical debut, and to mark the occasion, John Williams iconic score wasreleased on 180-gram vinyl. Some random copies were even printed on special Dilophosaurus-colored vinyl (thats the one that spits venomin poor Newmans face), while 1,000 editionswere aptly printed on translucent amber vinyl.

Just as the crops start to shrivel and die without water, human relationships also start to feel brittle without a steadyapplication of the nourishing, even life-giving, impacts ofappreciation. The dictionary defines appreciation as "a favorablecritical estimate," "sensitive awareness" and "an expression ofadmiration, approval or gratitude." When you appreciate someone, youare tuned into a positive quality of another human being and expressyour gratitude for it. ...
