Lorde Plays It Cool With Royals on Fallon


Lorde made her American television debut last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon where she performed two songs off her debut albumPure Heroine.The 16-year-old opened with her first single, and current hit, "Royals." The cool performance included a level of drama with minimal lighting, just Lorde in a white dress backed by a drummer and keyboardist.

As a web-only bonus, she also performed a haunting version"White Teeth Teens," a song that's rich in self-awareness, but much more upbeat than the dreamy, electronic vibe that lines her album.
