On Demand helps customers sell download-able content over the Internet by offering content optionally on CDs or DVDs. Branding CDs or DVDs with custom artwork on the covers and sleeves is an option. Once products are sold, people can order again, avoiding inventory, packaging and fulfillment hasstles. Plus there is an automated ordering and tracking process.

The entire process helps reduce the up-front cost of producing multiple quantities which eliminates inventory and obsolescence costs of pre-produced inventory.

"With traditional CD/DVD replication services significant quantity orders are required at one time and customers need a method to distribute them to the end user. However, there are many situations when this does not work," said Acutrack, Inc.'s Raj Barman, president and chief executive officer.

"As an example, if a training company were to require that its courses be distributed on CD or DVD and they have no idea how many students are registered for training, then On Demand Production might be an ideal solution for the situation," he continued.
